What a weekend! For those who don’t know Queensbury is the best place on the planet(and my hometown!), and the kids there are the definitely the coolest around. It is also my hometown and was where the Spike Bus made its last visit to a school and meet. Personally I was a huge fan of the 2005 XC team at Queensbury, but I guess you could say I might be slightly biased. Getting that out of the way, the 2010 Queensbury XC crew is an awesome group of people. This team is loaded with some strong runners, fun people, straight ballers, brothers and sisters of my friends, more people named Tom, and all sorts of good stuff. However, their skills at NHL 2010 leaves something to be desired. At the meet the next day, both teams ran great! The boys won, and were awarded some sweet blankets that say team champion, posting some impressive times in the process. The girls while missing one of their top 5 runners, were beaten out by only 5 points by a very strong Monroe-Woodbury team, imagine the damage they could do with the full team in the race! If they keep running like they are, I think they may be the team that could win the bet to get Sully and Underwood to take a dip in the SPAC reflection pool; you guys know what you have to do . . .
